The main function of the thyroid gland is to regulate metabolism, shape the growth of the body and control the composition of the blood. The thyroid gland affects our internal clock by activating or inhibiting various organs and systems.

Yogis understand the disease as a violation of the free flow of prana (energy) in the nadis (energy channels). If prana is blocked anywhere, disease will occur. It will also happen if there is an excess or lack of energy in the system. Health and well-being are the result of freely and properly distributed prana and its balance in every dimension of our being (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual). Yoga is effective in maintaining and restoring optimal health of the entire system, precisely because yoga practices are specifically designed to redistribute and harmonize prana.

Also, the work of the thyroid gland depends on the work of the vishudhi chakra (throat center) and on how we show our creativity, whether we can express ourselves and communicate, stand up for our point of view, forgive and speak with love, not to be spiteful and not to be attached to the past and painful memories. Yoga has many techniques that improve this aspect of our personality and this part of the physical body.

In this course we will practice a combination of gentle and conscious movements - hatha yoga poses to improve joint mobility, release tension, improve flexibility and build internal stability.

Various breathing techniques will be included to improve healing and eliminate unhealthy patterns.

All course participants will have the opportunity to watch online, for 24 hours, a recording of each lesson after the live practice.
